Scrivener of Doom has an awesome Realms site where among other things he's offering sandbox notes on Lost Mine of Phandelver and now Princes of the Apocalypse. He seems to focus on adding detail and Realms lore to surrounding locations that don't get the spotlight in the published adventure.
